Fuzhou and Beijing

Scary shark fin soup, not so good

Chickens FEET

The Great Wall goes on for miles and miles

Our Group: Gavin, Dad, Me, Allen, Jeremy, Johnathan, Mark and Kelli

Our last night in Fuzhou when Bestview was taking us out to dinner Kelli and I decided to be brave...started out with duck liver, shark fin soup, bbq dove, and CHICKEN FEET...yes I ate all of these! Then we flew to Beijing and today we went and saw great things like the Summer Palace and The Great Wall and saw all the olympic venues. Now the last picture, I had been warned about and told that the toilets were pretty easy and not to worry about. I was also told that they were a hole in the ground but I didn't know that it was a flat toilet. Unfortunately they are not as easy as Leslie told me...didn't work out so well. Tried them twice and never again thank you very much! No one in china speaks english so Mark and Chris have been taking advantage of speaking to them saying things you probably shouldn't. It's been fun.

Mandy, I can't believe how adventureous you are in your eating. Kelli too. I'm glad you're making the most of it. But the bathrooms- that's what keeping me away!

Nice job! I can't believe you ate all that either. It was really fun reading all about your trip. What did you go for-just for fun? I never would have guessed you were that brave (to eat all that stuff) and stand up while peeing:). hehe
